Abacus CPAs, LLC proudly announces the promotion of Ashleigh Huegerich to Senior Analyst. Ashleigh joined the firm in August 2021 as an analyst in the Tax, Audit, & Accounting Department.
Ashleigh obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Missouri State University in 2020 and her master of accounting in 2021. Her commitment to professional growth is evident, as she is currently pursuing her CPA license.
By developing her skills in accounting, payroll, and tax returns, Ashleigh is becoming a versatile professional. “Having the ability to work in multiple areas of accounting has helped me become a well-rounded accountant,” she said. “Through this, I am able to see our clients as a whole instead of pieces, allowing me to give our clients better guidance to make smarter decisions.”
In addition to her responsibilities as a senior analyst, Ashleigh takes charge of the firm’s 1099 process, undertakes accounting projects and training, and has recently assumed a supervisory role. Additionally, Ashleigh won the Abacus Values Award of Ownership in 2022. She loves to reflect on her short career to see how much she’s accomplished and understands that it is acceptable to not have all the answers all the time. “It’s important to remember that it’s not about having all the answers, but being able to find them. Strengthening my ability to find the right answers has helped me grow,” she said.
Looking ahead, Ashleigh is excited to continue to grow in her abilities as an accountant and as a leader. “Abacus has given me the opportunity to learn all areas of accounting. I aspire to continue learning and pass on my knowledge so we can serve our clients better,” Ashleigh said.
