Get to Know Andrea
Andrea Battaglia joined Abacus CPAs in May of 2020. As Chief Excellence Officer, Andrea leads and elevates the firm’s “Commitment to Excellence” in all areas – impacting both client and employees – to ensure we provide the Abacus Experience at all levels: individual, team and firm-wide. She oversees firm communication and marketing, learning and compliance, career coaching, internal project management and human resources.  She loves to facilitate large-scale training and individualized coaching to strengthen and reinforce effective strategies for employee career growth.

Andrea is an accomplished strategist, talented facilitator and focused professional who consistently drives profitable and sustainable results. She is a confident, engaging leader who is able to create desired culture change and successful organizational growth, both immediate and long-term, through innovative and disciplined use of resources.

Andrea has been an Ozarks native most of her life, but lived four years in Baltimore, MD. She earned her Masters of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication and her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Chemistry with a minor in Global Studies, all from Drury University. For more than 20 years, she has volunteered with local, state and national organizations leading their communication efforts.

Andrea and her husband, Matt, have four kids. When Andrea has free time she likes to run or hike, weight train, visit Table Rock lake – and organize anything and everything.
