Dawn Lorey joined Abacus CPAs in January 2023 as a Bookkeeping Associate in our Springfield office. Dawn is a multi-talented individual with a diverse background that spans across different parts of the United States. Although born in Portland, OR, she spent a significant portion of her post-college years in Los Angeles, CA. Dawn obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. Currently, Dawn and her husband are raising three children: Sophia, Liberty, and Lucas.

When away from work, Dawn finds solace in running and embracing the great outdoors. Her faithful canine companion accompanies her on walks, adding joy to her daily routine. Additionally, Dawn nurtures her love for literature by indulging in audiobooks and challenging herself with puzzles. With certifications in QBO, Bill.com, and Dext, Dawn continues to expand her skills and expertise in the field.
