Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce the promotion of Doris Helmick to Senior Associate. Helmick began at Abacus in 2011 as a Tax Preparer and moved to an Associate in the Lee’s Summit office.
Helmick graduated from Central Missouri State University and gained experience doing accounts payable for a bridal firm before joining the Abacus team. Now, Helmick helps with the payroll processes for McDonald’s clients as well as accounts payables for McDonald’s clients.
Helmick enjoys working on accounts payables most. With the nature of her job, Helmick does well in situations that need strategy and organization. She is excellent at setting priorities and efficiently working.
“I have learned that, with some guidance and training, I can take on new challenges that seemed outside of my area of knowledge,” she said.
Helmick is looking forward to the growth of the firm, specifically McDonald’s clients.
