Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Hannah Husgen has been promoted to Consultant. Hannah, who joined the firm in January 2020 as a member of the Tax Department, has grown into a trusted leader and considerable resource in guiding client tax and accounting projects with excellence.
Hannah earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting and Master’s in Business Administration from Missouri State University. In 2022, she earned her CPA credentials and was recognized with the People Focus Abacus Values Award for her exceptional ability to train and guide new employees with excellence.
“I know that people deserve better.” Says Hannah, “I spend my time working with new employees to ensure they have the support and guidance they need. I know that setting them up for success from the very beginning will build their skills, improve our team workflow and better serve our clients. It’s really a win for everyone; and I’m happy to lead this with excellence.”
Hannah began her Abacus journey as a Transportation Department intern, then became a full-time employee in Traditional Tax. Now, Hannah serves as a supervisor in the Traditional Department. Hannah continues to build her own leadership capacity by taking on larger and more complex client projects and guiding her team through their client workflow.
