Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Duncan Gakuru has been promoted to Analyst in the Transportation Department. He has served as a valuable resource for write-ups and estimates, two of his favorite projects. He is passionate about helping clients with proactive guidance and diligent work.
Duncan graduated from Evangel University in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He joined the firm in June 2021 as a part-time Associate, transitioned to full-time in June 2022. Duncan currently works as a member of the Transportation Accounting Group team.
Since joining Abacus, Duncan has grown in his comfort to interact with clients and coworkers. He has increased his technical skills by working through schedule C’s, tax returns, cash expense records and estimate payments – all important aspects of the accounting work he completes for over-the-road transportation drivers.
