Get to Know Shuhan

Shuhan Gu joined Abacus CPAs in February of 2017. She is currently serving as a Senior Advisor in our Tax, Audit, & Accounting Department and the supervisor of our Branson Office. Shuhan specializes in individual tax, business tax, and tax planning. Shuhan also has experience from serving as a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistant). Shuhan was named an Up-and-Comer Trusted Adviser by Springfield Business Journal in 2022.

Shuhan is a proud graduate of Missouri State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2015 and her master’s degree in accounting in 2016. She also earned her CPA license in 2018 and her master of taxation in 2023 from Golden Gate University. In addition, Shuhan is a member of AICPA and is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. Shuhan officially became a U.S. citizen in 2023.
