Shannon joined Abacus CPAs as Program Coordinator in January 2024. Originally from Houston, TX, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Mayville State University, a Master of Education from Sam Houston State University, and an Educational Specialist degree from Lindenwood University.

With a distinguished work history, Shannon served as Assistant Principal of Republic Middle School for 17 years and later as Principal of Pierce City High School for 2 years. Following this, Shannon transitioned to a role as an L6 Operations Manager at Amazon for 2.5 years.

Outside of his professional life, Shannon shares a fulfilling family life with wife Karen, and together they have three grown children and three grandchildren. Shannon’s interests include hiking, kayaking, island vacations, and offering unwavering support for the Kansas City Chiefs. With a robust educational background and extensive leadership experience, Shannon adds valuable expertise to the team.
