Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Andrea Battaglia has been promoted to Chief Excellence Officer. Andrea, who joined the firm in May 2021 as the Conveyor of Communication, has served as a leader in elevating the client and employee experience.
In her current role as CXO, Andrea oversees firm communication and marketing, learning and compliance, career coaching, internal project management and human resources. She serves as a confident, engaging leader who ensures the firm provides a distinctive experience – to clients and employees – at the individual, team and firm level.
“Influencing others to reach excellence has always been a driving force for me,” says Andrea, “I know that my experience, talents and leadership can empower others to achieve profitable and sustainable results. My unique ability helps create lasting change, and I’m proud to have influence to help others do the same.”
For more than 20 years, Andrea has worked as a communication and leadership-development expert, serving in roles ranging from retail to fundraising and student development to professional manager. Throughout her career, Andrea has served as an advocate and facilitator, driving high-level change through strategy, focus and significance.
“Abacus continues to show the best of me,” says Andrea. “My strengths have gotten sharper, my focus areas have continued to grow, and my influence has empowered me to make a larger impact. I’m proud to work with our incredible team and love that I can help our employees grow in their confidence and skills to help our clients.”
Andrea, who has been an Ozarks native most of her life, holds a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Chemistry with a minor in Global Studies, all from Drury University. For more than 20 years, she has volunteered with local, state and national organizations leading their communication efforts.
“Whatever I do, I’m going to do it with excellence,” says Andrea. “I want to make an impact and I can do that here at Abacus. I know the future holds great things and I’m excited to see how far we can go together.”
