Abacus CPAs, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Xilin Ye to Senior Tax Analyst in the Transportation Department. Ye began at Abacus in 2020 as an intern while finishing her master’s degree.
Ye has an extensive educational history, including two master’s degrees in Adult Education and CIED and Accountancy. After completing her graduate education, Ye joined the firm as a Tax Analyst in the Transportation Department for two years. With a range of experience, Ye learned a range of skills that equipped her for tasks including individual tax returns. Now, she reviews tax returns and works with businesses on returns.
“I like the diversity in the work I do,” Ye said. “It is not the same work every day, and I can use different skills to prepare me for tasks each day.”
Ye wants to continue to develop her expertise in her new position while striving for Abacus’ goal: commitment to excellence.
“I want to grow in my own commitment to excellence, with that being this year’s motivation,” she said. “I am looking forward to being skillful in accounting and achieving my CPA license.”
